Ladies!
I'm so excited about GT FOCUS. This is a time for us as Women of God to dig in with all we have and FOCUS on that which matters most...our walk with God and being satisfied in who He has made us to be!
I will update this blog as often as possible but would recommend you checking in regularly. Feel free to post thoughts, suggestions, reflections, laughs and more along the way.
This is our journey and will be exactly what we make it.
Books are on their way - once received, we will all jump into FOCUS!
I CAN SEE THIS AND COMMENT - FIRST LADY =)

DeleteHello ladies.... I hope you are enjoying this as much as I am.:)
ReplyDeleteMy question is on day three.
It says "If you donʼt have it – whatever it is – its because you donʼt need it. You may want it, but its not necessary in order to accomplish what He knows is most important for your life today".
I do understand that it may not be necessary to have what it is you prayed for to accomplish what God has for you.
But before that is says "If you donʼt have it – whatever it is – its because you donʼt need it."
But Matthew 21:22 it says " You will receive whatever you ask for in prayer, if you believe."
Do we believe that we have what we prayed for when we pray. Or if we don't see the manifestation of it, do we then think we do not need it??
Could you please clarify this?
Hello!! ok let me reply to this day 2!! My interpretation of if you don't have it, you don't need it is this. For everything there is a time and a season. I look at it as if you insert the word "now" to the end. You should not have to focus on it. You should not allow not having the physical appearance of it effect you. Faith is believing you have now what you have no proof of. the Word Always wins!! But I do believe that in SOME areas, we don't have things because we are not ready/prepared for them. I believe we should all stand firm until we SEE the manifestation! God's word declares we will have the desires of our hearts and that we shall have! Hope this helps clarify!

I believe that when what we pray he hears us, making sure that we are not asking for the wrong things...He will give it to us..faith it until manifestation don't doubt...its like that LV bag we ask for it but who knows when we will get it I may not need it, but its my desire as long as I am asking in (good faith) I believe that I have it! I hope this helps
ReplyDeleteAMen - nothing should keep you from making your request known to God!
DeleteHey ladies... my thoughts about on day 4 ; I said Lord I'm ready for my next miracle!!!
ReplyDeleteDay 5 ; I was like what will make me/you satisfied? Answer: stability and assurance
Q2: Saying yes to too many things and things running out quickly? Answer:Is that why I'm in debt?
Q3: trying to balance it all and regretting a choice I made? Answer:MONEY, being pulled between need and want...because when I don't have it I make a list of things I couldn't get and when I do have I pay the minimum bill payment when I could have paid it all and using the extra to get some of the stuff on that list. Then I regret it cause now there is no more money ;-(. vise versa pay the bills and none left for me.SMH shame
Anyone else feel that way?
Ok here - we - go! lol!
DeleteIt's amazing how similar these pages can look! Life is about balance and it does become challenging to balance everything out. Money especially!! One thing I have learned is that the more we rely on God, the more He can trust us and the more he bestows upon us. While you may have made foolish decisions in the past, I believe God honors our change and our commitment. That being said, you can use wisdom and budget but release the past decisions (as far as the negative thoughts) and use them to fuel the push forward to be wise stewards of what He's given to you and He will put you/us in a place where we have no thought about cost and can easily be free to enjoy this life and bless others to do the same!

My question for this week is from day 2, I've been rushing through life basically since Dameon was born. I am finally satisfied with where my life is (I'm still working on being completely satisfied with being single, but I think I'm really getting there), but I still feel like my life is rushing by. After rushing for so long, how do I slow down?
ReplyDeleteThis is an EXCELLENT question! I think one of the greatest ways is to actually do what you are doing right now. Make yourself a priority and you will start enjoying the days. One thing that I'm learning (this week because of the book lol) - is that I don't take enough time to appreciate right where I am. Life in general is moving fast, but we have to choose a way to slow it down as much as we are able to. I suggest you pick a time of the day to reflect on the day. Again, what we are doing with FOCUS right now is an excellent example. you are actually stopping to focus and in that time, stop and appreciate all that you have and you will find yourself enjoying your movements and actually living life instead of it running you =) looking forward to growing together in this area! PS - I believe Gods just moving things faster now a days so we can only do so much lol!
